Primary Mirror Assembly (PMA)The PMA includes the telescope's main mirror and its supporting structure. The mirror has a diameter of 7.9 feet (2.4 meters), just like Hubble's, and will be cooled to about 19 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees Celsius).
